Now my log looks like hieroglyphics to me, I am hoping that it makes sense to someone hereīecause this is way above me I have basically guessed this is the problem area within the log by the “tag at the end of the forbidden line” Including an IAX phone accross the city connected in fine. I have Linksys SPA942 Phones connected and Linksys ATA analog boxs.ġ6 extensions, 2 trunks. Asterisk is running on an IBM Xserver 346 with Raid, 4 Gb Ram. I know how to get around simple practical faults i.e sound issues nat etc but this one is really got me. I tested with X-Lite softphone on a machine, works fine, Incoming and outgoing. I have tried dial plan changes, Checked network routing which appears to be fine. In the log all I get is:Ĥ03 09:24:59] WARNING chan_sip.c: Received response: “Forbidden” from ‘ sip: tag=as23ae0fb5’ My provider does not support asterisk so will not look at any network details regarding my call attempts. Now I have All incoming lines working (2 Voip Lines) but am unable to make any calls out greeted by the “all circuits are busy” The freepbx distro was dated 31 July 2013. I decided to upgrade and put the new version on. It would fail over to the next line so it was not notices unless we were using more than 2 lines out. I noticed a degrading of one line with an intermittent “all circuits are busy” on one line. It has been working flawlessly for 2 years. I have Asterisk Ver 11.4.0 on my machine. If Vicidial has only a Private IP, pointing port 80 and 443 (for web) and 4569 (IAX) will allow your home agents full access. They need only http and SIP (or IAX) connectivity. In all cases, Zoiper or X-Lite or 3CX can be used from the Agent's house just as if the agent is in the office. If Vicidial has a private IP, it's often easiest to use an IAX soft phone client such as Zoiper. This works best if Vicidial has a Public IP. This removes the need for the VPN and allows the agent's web browsers and soft phones to connect directly to the Vicidial system. It even has a "Dynamic" link to allow those whose IPs change very often to access the system without having a local person add their IP every time. Have a look at Dynamic Good Guys (Free, on ) which allows home-based agents to access Vicidial without exposing Vicidial to "the world". I can't find any guide to connect directly to vici, is that even possible? since our system probably can host and route calls trough the softphone without having to go to a third party. but agents have to have a wired phone line, a phone, and a headset, wich at the end can get costy.Īgents are connecting trough a vpn to a local session on our server, and we are wondering if we can connect a softphone directly to our server to take call via PC, instead of using a paid VOip service. We have few agents who are now working from home, and we created external phones to be able to routed calls to their personnal phone. All the phone extension and SIP info are created within vici in the admin/phone section. I'm working in a company who use vicidial hosted on our server, with a cisco IP phone system (hardphone) to take calls.
